Network Engineering-Physical Network Infra team brings together innovative ideas and technologies from network architecture, software-defined networking (SDN), network virtualization, switch software and hardware co-design, and high-speed networking, to create hyperscale data-center networking solutions that power several of the most popular apps of the world such as Douyin and TikTok which serve hundreds of millions of users around the globe.

Network Engineering-Physical Network Infra team is responsible for designing, building, and operating the global, intelligent network infrastructure to meet the requirements of high availability, scalability, and high-performance. By joining this team, you will gain marketable software development and/or network operation experiences in data center networking on a massive scale.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for buildout, delivery and daily operation of Tiktok's global OTN infra
- Responsible for high level and low level design, road-map and standardization of Tiktok's OTN
- Responsible for OTN automation and architecture optimization
- Improve OTN availability and efficiency
- As a team member, responsible for Tiktok's global datacenter buildout and operationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge on optical transportation, experience of OTN solution, system design, architecture, service delivery and operation
- Hands on experience of major OTN devices, such as Ciena, Nokia, Infinera etc.
- Self-motivated, good communication and written skills.
- Team player and participate Bytedance network global oncall rotation.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Good troubleshooting skills, able to handle various OTN issues
- Network knowledge, such as TCP/IP, BGP is preferred
