Responsibilities
Design, implement, and optimize well-tested Swift and Objective-C software which powers social experiences in TikTok.
Analyze and optimize iOS applications for efficiency and performance.
Support current features and improve and upgrade existing application codebase.
Fix known bugs and improve application performance.
Promote robust and maintainable code, clear documentation, and deliver high-quality work on a tight schedule.
Mentor junior engineers and interns.Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
Designing and implementing mobile applications, including front-end UI logic and back-end business logic for iOS platform;
Designing and implementing user interfaces and scripts for mobile applications using Objective-C, Swift, JavaScript, or React Native;
Maintaining, debugging, and upgrading iOS mobile applications;
Optimizing performance for iOS mobile applications using xCode and VSCode; and
Designing and implementing software service architecture to support high throughput and fault tolerant services.

Type: Full time, 40 hours/week
Location: San Jose, CA
Salary Range: $146307 - $250000 per year
