About the Teams
The Data Platform Product team at ByteDance plays a crucial role in supporting the rapid growth of the company's business. There is a significant demand for extracting valuable insights from data. The numerous data processing tasks such as extraction, cleaning, and visualization require our expertise. Advancements in AI provide new opportunities for our data products. Our current goal is to empower more non-professionals to leverage data effectively in their work.

What you will be doing:
- Engage in the development of data products with AI
- Collaborate with team members to deliver user-friendly and innovative applications to our end users
- Actively research, experiment, iterate and improve product architecture to ensure high quality and robustness in our enterprise-grade platforms
- Adopt automated and manual test strategies to ensure product quality before delivery
- Learn and understand how data products works to suggest and help build end-to-end solutions.
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialised utility programs.
- Analyse user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Update software, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops and direct software testing and validation procedures.Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with expertise in data structures and algorithms.
- Expertise in fundamental web development technologies (TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Expertise in one of the modern web frameworks (React, Vue, Angular, etc.)
- Expertise in web API design and development (REST, GraphQL)
- Possesses strong product thinking, has experience creating open-source products or user-facing products, and is familiar with user-centric development approaches.

Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.
- 3+ years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional projects.
- Expertise in AI product development.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
