As data analyst in this team, you will have the opportunity to tackle challenges by analyzing and mining the huge amount of data to understand and improve the video streaming experience of billions of users around the world while leveraging your experience and expertise in data analysis and data mining. Responsibilities - Own and conduct data analysis related to live streaming and real-time communication (RTC) products. - Ensure data quality by monitoring event tracking quality, participating in event tracking design reviews, and collaborating with the data engineering team. Build efficient data ETL processes and maintain data SLAs. - Develop and maintain a comprehensive live streaming and RTC-related metrics system, including defining indicators, building dashboards, ensuring stability and availability, and conducting root cause analysis for metrics. - Perform data analysis based on business requirements, support data analysis for special projects, and provide ongoing data analysis support. - Support A/B testing initiatives by optimizing A/B testing processes, producing Libra indicators, providing attribution analysis, and generating A/B testing conclusions and reports. - Drive business growth by identifying data optimization opportunities, providing optimization suggestions, and delivering tangible benefits. Develop and refine optimization methodologies over time. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Product Management, Research and Development, and Technical Support, to identify and resolve online issues. Continuously improve service quality by enhancing systems and solutions.Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a closely related field - Proficiency in data manipulation using SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages/tools - Experience in building dashboards and conducting quantitative analysis, data visualization, and reporting Preferred Qualifications - Genuine passion for working with large and complex data sets, deriving actionable insights, and solving challenging problems in a rapidly growing space - Experience in data analysis, with knowledge in the livestream/RTC area considered a plus - Experience in root cause analysis - Experience in mentoring and developing team members TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
