About the Team

Responsibilities
Design, construct, test, and maintain robust, reliable, and scalable data pipelines and services.
Investigate and integrate into existing requirements up-and-coming big data technologies.
Install/update system and component fault-tolerant procedures.
Employ an array of technological tools to integrate with 3rd-party data systems.
Collaborate with team members (e.g., data administrators, data scientists) to meet project goals.
Establish solid design and best engineering practices for engineers as well as non-technical personnel.Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
Designing and modeling data warehouses to support data analytics, reporting, and data applications;
Implementing data warehouse and ETL processes using Hive, Spark, Hadoop, or SQL Server to optimize data processing performance;
Programing using SQL, Python, or Java;
Building data services or applications using data query engines: HBase, Elastic Search, ClickHouse, or SQL Server; and
Debugging data infrastructure issues.

Type: Full time, 40 hours/week
Location: San Jose, CA
Salary Range: $170227-$250000 per year
