Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and enhance data discovery tools and capabilities (e.g., scripts, jobs, functions) to automate iterative end-to-end processes for identifying sensitive data using scalable, reusable, and configurable frameworks/methodologies.
Build and manage data inventories and data flow mappings by collecting and aggregating datasets from multiple data source systems.
Collaborate with both technical and business teams to gather functional requirements for in-house and external technologies to identify sensitive, high value data (e.g., consumer data, sensitive data, IP & source code) and ensure appropriate data protection controls are in place.
Define metrics and create/maintain dashboards for measuring and reporting key performance indicators (e.g., coverage, findings and remediations).
Implement and enforce processes and policies that support data security and protect sensitive data-at-rest, in-motion and in-transit (e.g., data classification schema, data disposition requirements, and controls).
Identify and track remediation activities and issues resulting from data discovery and other data protection risks and manage data discovery remediation workflows.
Conduct data security risk assessments to identify gaps in coverage across environments.Qualifications
Must have a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 1 year of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Machine Learning, Data Science, Analytics, Operations Research, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, and 3 years of related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in each of the following:
Utilizing relational databases including SQL, NoSQL, or MySQL;
Utilizing non-relational database or big data including Hive, Hadoop, HDFS, Redis, Graph, or Mongo;
Process automation and script development using Python or Go;
Data analysis using Python Pandas library and RegEx; and
Utilizing Linux and command line interfaces.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience in at least 4 of the following areas: (1) Data discovery and identification; (2) Data lifecycle and protection of data throughout; (3) Data classification and privacy policies; (4) Data modeling and administration; or (5) Disk, file, device, and database encryption.

Salary Range: $111966 - $146400 per year
