Team Introduction At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (advertising) team plays a key role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving effective ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed around the world, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real time. The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. The Auto Moderation Operations team plays a vital role in maintaining a positive and engaging ad experience for the TikTok community. As an Auto Moderation Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing trends in content violations, generating reports with actionable insights for key stakeholders, and developing strategies to enhance automation. Your work will involve evaluating the performance of machine learning and AI models used in content moderation, focusing on metrics such as precision of recall, reject and false positives, while ensuring the efficiency of moderation workflows. In this role, you'll continuously refine content detection strategies, leveraging AI-driven tools, and identifying opportunities to improve processes. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Monetization Product, Integrity, Data Science, and Risk Management, to execute key initiatives and align operational workflows with TikTok’s broader business goals. Your ability to navigate complex issues, optimize moderation processes, and adapt to a fast-paced environment will be crucial to maintaining TikTok’s commitment to a safe, enjoyable, and creative advertising experience. Main Responsibilities 1.Familiarity with AI products or auto moderation tooling operations. Expected to provide optimization suggestions and strategic direction for continuous improvement. Be able to assess current processes and identify opportunities for enhancement. 2.Use statistical tools and techniques to process large datasets, to identify areas for improvement in the automated moderation process. 3.Evaluate the performance of machine learning and AI models used for content moderation, measuring precision, recall, reject and false positives/negatives. 4.Create reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders. 5.Working cross-functionally with product managers, AI researchers, engineers, and policy teams to align on goals, improvements, and new features. 6.Analyze trends in content violations and monitoring evolving user behaviors to ensure the system remains effective.Minimum Qualifications 1.Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science or a related field. 2.Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese. 3.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with data sensitivity. 4.Minimum 3 years experience in data analytics, preferably in content moderation, social media, or similar tech environments. Preferred Qualifications 1.Experience in developing Regular Expressions to catch specific words, phrases, or combinations that violate TikTok Policies. 2.Have a basic understanding of AI model operation knowledge, especially large language model related technologies. 3.Programming skills in languages like Python, SQL, or Go for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
