The job

Do you want to shape the next generation of diagnostic systems for allergy and autoimmune diseases? We are looking for a Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to lead the development of innovative system solutions—from early concept to final verification—working at the intersection of hardware, software, and clinical needs.

You will have overall technical responsibility for the development and evolution of complex analysis systems, with a focus on system functionality and performance. You will ensure system designs meet customer needs as well as regulatory and quality requirements. The role includes leading system definition, concept development, and architecture across the full product lifecycle. You will coordinate requirements across disciplines and drive alignment between hardware, software, and workflows to support successful system development and delivery.

What will you do?

  • Lead system design and define product requirements based on customer and stakeholder needs, translating them into robust concepts and architectures

  • Own and maintain requirements, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards, traceability, and product quality

  • Drive the full system lifecycle—from concept and architecture through integration, verification, and customer feedback

  • Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between hardware, software, and workflows

  • Lead risk management activities, including identification, assessment, and mitigation

  • Establish and govern system engineering processes, methods, and best practices

  • Support product launches and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in system engineering, supporting technical direction and decision-making

How will you get there?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience preferred in system engineering, product development, or similar roles involving complex systems

  • Strong experience in requirements engineering, architecture, and integration across multiple domains

  • Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., medical devices or diagnostics) is highly valued

  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to development

  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across disciplines

  • Proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a team environment

  • Professional fluency in written and spoken English is required. Spoken fluency in Swedish is a strong advantage to support day-to-day collaboration and relationship-building

We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and interviews are planned for the second half of August.
