Strategic Business Impact

For this role, projects may include the following responsibilities:

• Support continuous improvement and digital transformation projects within the Quality Assurance organization.
• Analyze quality metrics and develop dashboards to improve visibility of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and support data-driven decision making.
• Design and automate reporting tools, including the Quality Project Lead (QPL) Capacity Model, to improve efficiency and reduce manual activities.
• Develop automated reports and data visualization tools for Deviations, Laboratory OOS investigations, Customer Complaints, and Rejected Batches to enable proactive quality management.
• Participate in data collection and analysis for quality improvement projects, identifying trends and recommending process enhancements.
• Assist with the review, revision, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) to support process improvements and CAPA implementation.
• Support document management and workflow optimization within Documentum, helping streamline document review and approval processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate current processes and recommend innovative solutions that improve compliance, efficiency, and standardization.
• Gain exposure to Quality Systems, regulatory compliance, project management, and continuous improvement methodologies while building capabilities aligned with future Quality career opportunities.

Compensation

Our Undergraduate co-ops offer an hourly rate between $24.00 - $25.00 dependent upon academic year (rising Junior or Senior).

What We Look For

Academic Background & Work Experience:

• Undergraduate student completing a Bachelor’s degree in a science related field between December 2027 – June 2029.
• Previous related co-ops, internships, and / or work experience preferred.

Leadership Profile:

• Proven leadership experience through student organizations, athletics, Greek life, community service, volunteer organizations, campus programs, military service, or other leadership roles.
• A track record of influencing others, leading initiatives, driving results, and creating positive impact within teams and organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and solve complex problems.
• Evidence of grit, resilience, and perseverance when facing challenges, setbacks, or competing priorities.
• Strong learning agility, intellectual curiosity, and an innovative mindset.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to build relationships across diverse teams.
• Geographic mobility and flexibility required to pursue co-op and future career opportunities in locations aligned with business needs.
• Onsite and in-office work is an essential function of this role and is required throughout the program and in future placements to support collaboration across businesses, functions, and locations.

Compensation

The estimated annualized pay range for this position in Ontario is $24.00–$25.00.
