Job Description

As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you’ll discover meaningful work that makes a positive impact on a global scale. Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.

DESCRIPTION:

Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as the Product Manager for the NanoDrop™ and Quant-iT™ portfolio, where you will define and execute product strategy for industry-leading nucleic acid and protein quantification solutions. You will drive the growth and innovation of a portfolio that combines NanoDrop UV-Vis spectrophotometers with Quant-iT™ fluorescence-based assays, enabling researchers to achieve accurate, reliable sample quantification across genomics, proteomics, and cell biology workflows.

In this role, you will develop and execute portfolio strategies aligned with customer needs, market trends, and business objectives. You will gather Voice of Customer (VOC) insights from academic, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, clinical, and industrial laboratories to identify unmet needs and translate them into product enhancements, workflow solutions, and new product opportunities.

You will collaborate closely with R&D, Applications, Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing, Commercial teams, and regional business leaders to define product requirements, prioritize development initiatives, develop go-to-market strategies, and successfully launch new instruments, assays, software features, and workflow solutions. You will also partner across Thermo Fisher divisions to integrate NanoDrop and Quant-iT products into broader molecular biology and genomic sample preparation workflows.

As the business owner for your portfolio, you will analyze market trends, customer adoption, competitive positioning, and financial performance to drive sustainable growth and improve portfolio profitability. You will develop business cases, pricing strategies, product positioning, and commercialization plans to ensure the portfolio remains competitive and differentiated in the evolving life sciences market.

Your work will directly impact scientists around the world by delivering innovative quantification technologies that improve confidence in downstream applications, including PCR, qPCR, NGS, cloning, protein analysis, and cell biology research.

This is an onsite position.
