Join our colleagues in bringing our Mission to life every single day to enable our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer.

We are seeking a Data Specialist to manage and evolve the data foundations powering the LSG Search (SEO + SEM) marketing analytics. This role handles massive volumes of marketing and customer data to unlock performance insights at scale.

This role centers on integrating data across multiple sources to build reliable datasets and advanced visualizations that surface actionable insights — driving optimization of growth, efficiency, and customer behavior across marketing channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and transformation workflows to curate data from SEM and SEO data sources into analytics-ready datasets
  • Build and maintain Looker dashboards, Adobe workspaces, automated reports, and ad hoc analyses to surface opportunities, evaluate channel performance, and guide spend and investment decisions
  • Develop SEO/AEO dashboards that translate Organic AI Search data into clear, actionable insights for Search Managers to improve growth and efficiency
  • Maintain data consistency, quality, and continuous enhancement standards across budget forecasting, pacing, and portfolio reporting sheets to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve data quality, analytics workflows, and reporting efficiency, leveraging AI, automation, and traditional optimization methods
  • Support complex Search roadmap initiatives, including data-driven management by fostering stakeholder alignment, proactively navigating risks and uncertainties, and driving clear communication across teams

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree plus 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data analytics, applied data science, or a related field
  • Experience with modern data engineering and analytics practices: data modeling, transformation frameworks, testing/monitoring, version control, and operationalization
  • Build and maintain scalable data assets, including attribution models, forecasting methodologies, and budget management frameworks, to support robust analytics and reporting across teams
  • Technical proficiency in SQL and Python or R, with experience working in large cloud data warehouse environments
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing fundamentals and metrics, including CPA, ROAS, CVR, attribution, segmentation, and search performance (including SEO and SEM metrices)
  • Experience with marketing analytics and BI tools for dashboards/KPI monitoring (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Power BI, Looker) and the ability to structure data for reporting capability
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Preferred

  • Exposure to marketing automation platforms, experimentation frameworks, or advanced analytics tooling, AI and automation

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong business analysis and problem-solving skills with an innovation mindset
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to communicate across business areas and with executive leadership
