Description
What You'll Build:
- Real-time messaging infrastructure handling tens of millions of messages
- Distributed systems with Elixir and Phoenix LiveView
- Clustering, presence, and fault-tolerant architecture
- Backend-driven reactive UI (no API glue between frontend and backend)
What You'll Own:
- Core platform infrastructure end-to-end
- Scalability and production reliability
- Real-time system performance
Requirements
- 7+ years building distributed systems in Go, Rust, or C++
- Deep networking fundamentals (TCP/UDP, protocol design)
- Deep understanding of multiprocessing/multithreading
- Open to learning new technologies - you'll be working with Elixir
