About the Role & What You'll Do As a Senior Consultant – Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive end-to-end integration tests for both front-end and back-end services to ensure the highest quality of software. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business partners to implement new features, contribute innovative ideas, and actively participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions. You will also be expected to write clean, efficient, and high-performance code while maintaining and enhancing existing systems and processes to drive impactful improvements. What you’d bring to Spur Develop and implement automated tests for new features in a collaborative environment, working closely with product managers and engineers Write clean, efficient, and maintainable test scripts for both functional and integration tests, ensuring high quality across AWS-based services Collaborate with stakeholders and internal teams to implement integration tests into CI/CD pipelines using AWS and Terraform Participate in team planning, design reviews, and technical discussions, contributing to testing strategies and cloud-based solutions Lead the design, development, and implementation of automated test strategies for new features in a collaborative environment, working closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders What you'll need (Requirements) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 2 years of industry experience Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and Agile development processes 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing automated test frameworks for web and API services Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, with an emphasis on test automation Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Cypress, Selenium, Appium, or similar frameworks In-depth experience with CI/CD pipelines in AWS, including integrating automated tests using Terraform for infrastructure as code Advanced knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS) and their application in cloud-based test automation Preferred Qualifications Financial industry experience a plus Demonstrated leadership in driving testing initiatives and mentoring team members to improve quality and efficiency Additional Information Spur Reply (Formerly The Spur Group) part of Reply Network, is a consulting firm based in Bellevue, WA. In our hybrid working environment, our general working hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. PT, Monday through Friday. While we strive for work/life harmony, client work may extend beyond these hours and may require flexibility in work arrangements. The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $100,000-$120,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications, and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
