Due to continued demand from our clients, we are seeking an experienced Technical Infrastructure Project Manager to join us on an initial contract engagement supporting a leading organisation within the insurance sector.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a technically capable Infrastructure Project Manager to provide additional delivery capacity to a busy IT leadership team and drive several critical infrastructure initiatives currently underway.

This is an initial 3-month contract requiring approximately 2-3 days per week, offering a hybrid working arrangement from Parramatta.

Working closely with senior technology stakeholders, you will take ownership of project governance, coordination, delivery management, and stakeholder engagement across multiple infrastructure initiatives including business continuity, data centre, and infrastructure refresh programs.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal technical teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Drive infrastructure and operational resilience initiatives, including Business Continuity Plan (BCP) refresh activities.
• Support data centre refresh and infrastructure modernisation programs.
• Facilitate governance forums, status reporting, and executive communications.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks whilst maintaining strong stakeholder engagement.

About You

You are a hands-on Technical Project Manager with strong infrastructure knowledge and the ability to confidently engage with both technical and business stakeholders.

You will bring:

• Proven experience delivering enterprise infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of data centre, server, network, cloud, and operational infrastructure environments.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities.
• Experience delivering Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, or resilience-related initiatives.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Ability to operate independently within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong project governance and risk management experience.

Desirable Experience

• Experience within the insurance or financial services sector.
• Relevant project management certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile, or equivalent.
• Exposure to infrastructure transformation, technology refresh, or cloud migration projects.
