Job Description

  • The project manager will play a key role in leading our future factory in Richmond, Virginia, and will be crucial in developing the LEGO Workplace Experience and Future Factory concept.

What your day will look like:

  • Project lead LEGO Manufacturing Virginia design and fit-out.
  • Deliver end to end workplace projects by following Workplace Project Model, drive design project from end to end, throughout activities of conceptualization, Business Case, mobilization, design, procurement, installation and handover to the local factory operations.
  • Ensure project execution in compliance with LEGO standards, processes, and local regulations.
  • Understand business need, develop Business Case and support project sponsor to secure approval.
  • Secure internal resources with functional managers (Procurement, IT, Legal, Security, Design, WINN, OPS) to execute project within matrix organization
  • Tender and recruit external vendors together with Procurement incl. onboard and management.
  • Kick off and onboard project core team with clear project objectives, timeline, deliverables and budget.
  • Lead project scope, cost, timeline, risk, quality, resources to ensure project performance is in line with Business Case.

Are you up for the challenge?

  • +5-8 years’ experience with Project Management preferably workplace projects.
  • Able to understand all workstreams within IT, Security, Workplace experience, portfolio management, real estate.
  • Experience with vendor management and cost management/control.

Compensation

  • The salary for this position has a range of $130,000 - $170,000 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalization of the employment offer.
