Core Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the LEGO Production team meets the reliability requirements of the company and product quality.
  • Coordinate the area staff in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager in order to compleate maintenance activities.
  • Coordination with other departments.
  • Ensure the development of preventive and corrective maintenance activities, creation and execution of continues improvement journey.
  • Software System monitoring, debugging and troubleshooting operational problems (PLC, Controller, Drivers, Robotic systems).
  • Provide guidance and technical expertise to technicians, mainly focusing on PLC, controllers, drivers, robotic systems.
  • Participate in specifying, functional designing and software programs which will be developed and installed into equipment. Other duties are to manage and update wiring schematic, layouts, technical document, PLC program and other related document of machinery and equipment
  • Participate and involve during installation, modify and commissioning of new equipment, module’s modification, software/hardware modification, upgrading new platforms / processes and layouts.
  • Research and apply PDCA to improve the equipment’s reliability and cycle time, eliminate / minimize any interruption to machine operation.
  • Lead and organize the training to improve local specialist team’s technical maturity (e.g. automation and digitalization, PLC program structure, PLC controller, etc.).
  • Drive continuous improvement for enhanced productivity, usability and serviceability.
  • Active participation in software/hardware global projects.
  • Collaboration with other sites and sharing the best practices related to processes and technologies.
  • Actively communicate with subordinates and provide constructive feedback.
  • SAP Management – Machine Maintenance function.
  • Troubleshooting through the root cause mindset.
  • Coordination and feedback to colleagues in other plants.
  • Participate in projects to improve processes and equipment.
  • Participate in the development of new machinery with the project area.
  • Must be able to take the initiative and responsibility in solving critical and chronic problems in machinery.
  • Guarantee the support in the identification and requisition of critical spare parts.
  • Take responsibility for the appropriate integration and / or implementation of the QEHS System in the operational processes of your area and ensure its effectiveness.
  • Assign the necessary resources for the management of the QEHS system in the area.
  • Provide support, participate proactively and demonstrate leadership on QEHS in your area.
  • Comply with the QEHS legal requirements, standards (External / internal) and others applicable to your area.
  • Other tasks assigned by manager.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Preference for candidates with at least 3 years of experience of injection moulding machine.
  • Preference for candidates degree in electrical or mechatronics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership skills like decision-making, motivation and goal-setting
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional organization and time management abilities
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively
  • Traveling (occasionally, based on business needs)
  • Time flexibility (sometimes support for weekend shifts needed)
  • Fluent in English (Writing and Speaking) is required
