Please note: This is not a Remote role and will require the incumbent to be based in Tokyo, Japan, and work a hybrid schedule.

This is an individual contributor role.

This role is responsible for leading and implementing data & analytical solutions across the operating unit to drive growth objectives in Japan & South Korea Operating Unit. The role will collaborate with business function leaders and technology associates to lead 1) identifying business issues and opportunities 2) proposing right solutions from descriptive to predictive analytics product 3) re-use and scaling analytics assets across different business sectors by managing cross functional teams of product, technology, and subject matter experts to deliver projects and programs.

This role will report to Senior Director, Data & Analytics, Japan & South Korea Digital Services in Digital & Technology Services and work with Regional Delivery Center and external consultants as needed as one virtual team for development.

Role & Responsibilities

Product Leadership

  • Identify key business issues with deep business acumen by working closely with business stakeholders and propose data analytics solutions.

  • Discover data sources necessary to design solution, work with OU business stakeholders to acquire them and collaborate with Regional Delivery Center to develop the right data foundation required to develop analytics solutions.

  • Lead product development to satisfy business requirement by collecting feedback from stakeholders and analyzing operation process and then guiding data operations & platform team on the development of the product.

  • Design operation process and define role & responsibilities of stakeholder to run operation after production.

  • Manage whole projects to launch products within pre-defined milestone by facilitating engagement of key stakeholders and allocating tasks properly as a technical expert.

  • Train the OU business team, monitor adoption and satisfaction of end users by tracking usage report, lead product updates to meet market and business changes, sunset the underutilized and create new offerings to meet emerging needs.

  • Partner with OU business stakeholders during ABP and LRP to identify key business questions to deliver actionable insights by leveraging different analytics technique.

  • Adapt global data analysis products for use in the Japan and South Korea operating unit and deploy them to deliver compelling end user experiences that drive business growth.

Stakeholder Management

  • Lead stakeholder engagement with the key functional leaders within Japan and South Korea operating unit and Coca-Cola system network demonstrating a deep understanding of their needs.

  • Collaborate with data and analytics teams in other regions across the globe to lead projects successfully.

  • Role model the behaviors of an enterprise leader – working across markets, functions and teams, ensuring clear accountabilities for all and optimizing value creation for the total company.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years+ experience in the data analysis heavy environment such as data analysis, strategy consulting, finance, or associated field.

  • Experience in driving incremental business value by leveraging different analytics technique.

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker is preferred.

  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI and proficiency in SQL, Python is preferred.

  • Aptitude for communicating insights and collaborating across teams/organizations.

  • Fluency in both Japanese and English.
