As part of being member of Master Data Center of Expertise, you will be required to execute the activities related in the set-up of the material data in the manufacturing system for commercialization projects and business continuity planning for CPSNA concentrate plants and distribution centers, including the creation, extension, change management, and audit of master data in the SAP (R/3) system and the creation and maintenance of associated operational systems (product labels, ABS and SCADA).

This role will actively work with local plant teams to understand every creation or maintenance request, implementing it and validating that the local Master data remains in compliance with the governance processes of TCCC.

This role supports Business Continuity plan and Governance by documenting the processes and data practices to create standards that will be maintained through governance routines.

Essential Functions:

  • Translate formula and technical review information into master data elements to be updated in SAP and related systems. Create, validate through verification, and maintain master data (material master, BOMS, Master Recipes, AFL) in the SAP R/3 production module for materials, raw materials, in process, finished goods and sales kits. The creation, validation for set-up and activation decision is all handled by this position (Cidra and ABBP).

  • Review master data change requests against formula and operational guidelines meeting with requestors, recommend course of action and execute data changes as authorized. Insure master data is processed to account for obsolete products and maintain the system updated to prevent unauthorized production or sales.

  • Extend master data in SAP (R/3) for warehouse locations as Atlanta Consolidated Warehouse and Dallas. Prepare protocols of new product information and communicate to CCNA Master Data Teams.

  • Design, create and validate product labels for New Products in compliance with local, international and receiving country requirements and laws. Maintain label database systems (GLS), including troubleshooting support.

  • Interact with other business functions such as Product Commercialization, Regulatory, and/or other Concentrate Plants to discuss label issues and implement solution accordingly.

  • Translate formula and technical evaluation into manufacturing recipes for ABS (Automatic Batch System - CRI) and SCADA (for Freestyle - ABBP). Validate, maintain and execute changes in those systems as needed.

  • Interact with manufacturing group to identify and determine best recipes parameters.

  • Participation in the analysis of system database, formula, regulatory and other changes or modifications impacting master data elements. Brainstorm issues related with master data and labels and actively seek opportunities for improving and optimizing applicable processes.

  • Follows data standards rules during the Master Data creation process, including monitoring and update where required for global Master Data metrics.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: bachelor’s degree in science (Preferred)

  • Fluent in verbal and written English

  • Experience: 3 – 5 years of experience with SAP knowledge and exposure to product structure. Knowledge of formulas and production processes is a plus.

  • 2 – 5 years’ experience in a technical role in a high-volume food, chemical or pharmaceutical environment is an advantage.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making skills, with ability for detailed assessment of data.

  • High level of PC literacy and exposure to major computer systems. Experience with SAP, Data Automation and Artificial Intelligence tools is advantageous.

  • Experience in Technical Master Data Management, Automated Scripting & Reporting Tools, and Management of Confidential Information desirable
