BODYARMOR is looking for an Innovation Intern to join our team.

As a BODYARMOR Innovation Intern you will be a part of the Innovation team and will be assigned a master project that will support the development of the BODYARMOR Sports Nutrition rolling 5-year innovation pipeline across both BODYARMOR & POWERADE brands.  You will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand the category landscape, product trends, and macro consumer trends and their potential application to the functional hydration/nutrition space.  Additionally, you will work with our development team to initiate concept testing with consumers to further validate the development of new and unique innovation concepts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviewing and assessing Nielsen data to understand the key players within the functional beverage category and the ability to discern business opportunities from this data
• Working with third party data providers to get an understanding of data available for mining
• Understanding nutritional components of products that consumers are seeking
• Identifying white space opportunities within the functional beverage space to expand the BASN portfolio of brands
• Assisting the Innovation Team with various projects to complement launches currently in the pipeline
• Recommending potential line extensions for the broader portfolio and developing concepts for presentations in conjunction with the internal creative team
• Support additional ad hoc projects as requested

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently enrolled in BS in marketing or another related major
• Strong analysis, creative thinking, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills
• Passion for understanding consumer behavior
• Strong attention to detail.  Self-starter.  Team player.
• Ability to adjust on the fly and thrive in an ever-changing environment
• Ability to travel (20%)

Monthly Compensation

$3,400-$6,700 dependent on job and degree type

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
