3D Product Designer – Amazon Private Label

Location: Remote

This is a full time, permanent and remote oppotunity as per the US Central timezone

We are hiring a 3D Product Designer to create photorealistic 3D renders, lifestyle mockups, and animations for our Amazon private label product catalog. You'll work closely with our brand, marketing, and Amazon listing optimization teams to produce visuals that drive conversion on Amazon detail pages (main images, A+ Content / Enhanced Brand Content, Storefront, and video).

Responsibilities

  • Create photorealistic 3D renders of private label products (hero shots, lifestyle scenes, exploded/feature callout views, size comparisons, packaging mockups)
  • Produce Amazon-compliant main images, secondary images, A+ Content / Premium A+ modules, and Storefront graphics from 3D renders
  • Model and texture new SKUs from reference photos, CAD files, or manufacturer spec sheets when physical samples aren't available
  • Build short-form 3D product animations and turntables for listing video and social/ad creative
  • Collaborate with the brand and Amazon PPC/listing team to align visuals with conversion-focused messaging and current Amazon image policies
  • Iterate quickly on renders based on A/B test results, click-through data, and stakeholder feedback
  • Manage multiple SKU/product launches simultaneously and hit tight, launch-driven deadlines
  • Maintain organized 3D asset libraries (models, textures, HDRIs, scenes) for fast reuse across product variations and future SKUs

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a 3D Product Designer/Artist, ideally producing content for e-commerce or Amazon listings (portfolio required)
  • Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software (Blender, Cinema 4D, 3ds Max, or KeyShot)
  • Strong texturing/shading skills; Substance Painter/Designer experience a plus
  • Experience with photorealistic rendering engines (V-Ray, Octane, Corona, Redshift, or Blender Cycles) for product visualization
  • Solid understanding of studio lighting, composition, and materials — able to make renders indistinguishable from real photography
  • Familiarity with Amazon image and A+ Content requirements (image size/resolution, white-background main image rules, infographic best practices)
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for post-render compositing, retouching, and infographic layout
  • Ability to model products from CAD files, technical drawings, or reference photos
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to work core hours overlapping with US Central Time (CST/CDT), roughly 9:00 AM–3:00 PM CST
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a workstation capable of handling render workloads (GPU-accelerated rendering preferred)

Nice to Have

  • Direct experience creating visuals for Amazon private label brands or FBA sellers
  • Experience with Amazon Posts, Brand Story, and Premium A+ Content modules
  • Motion graphics/animation experience (After Effects) for listing videos and ads
  • Familiarity with Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar Amazon listing tools
