As an Intern at TI, you will be assigned meaningful projects related to your educational background that are challenging, rewarding and beneficial to the Facilities organization. The projects focus on cost and energy reduction, plant and process safety improvements, reliability improvement and problem solving. You will be integrated into the team and supported by engineers, technicians, operators and the leadership team as you work through their projects. About the Job
Controls Engineering interns will have the opportunity to work on factory controls and automation systems that provide crucial support to manufacturing operations. They will gain hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), SCADA systems, field instrumentation, motor drives, industrial networks and more. They will work in cross-disciplinary settings, often working alongside other facilities mechanical, electrical, and chemical teams on projects to improve the automated control and remote monitoring of their respective systems.
