Texas A&M University’s Technology Services is seeking talented and driven individuals to fill multiple opportunities as Software Applications Developers II and III, for an onsite position in College Station, Texas!

As members of our team, you will collaborate with end users throughout the entire developer process, spanning from conceptualization and application deployment to ongoing maintenance and support. Your focus will be on crafting a wide variety of applications, both vendor-based and in-house, tailored to support our various departments. The development environment is dynamic, encompassing Windows, Linux, and Cloud platforms (AWS and Azure) for Mobile, Web and Desktop applications. You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of programming languages including, C#, Java, Python and PHP, as well as utilize CSS, Java and PL/SQL scripting for comprehensive software development.

Over the past couple years, Technology Services has created vertical technical and management career paths to support individual career growth. Texas A&M is developing a state-of-the-art network with a future organization to include machine learning and AI creating a rich learning environment for years to come.

Salary: Commensurate based on selected candidate’s education and experience.

Schedule: This position may provide on call support on nights and weekends. This is an onsite position and the selected candidate(s) would be expected to work in College Station, Texas.

Qualifications

Software Applications Developer II

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND 3 years of software development experience.

Software Applications Developer III

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience AND 5 years of software development experience.
