What we want
The Data Analyst, under general direction, assists CHEER in the development, collection, and maintenance of formative and process evaluation data related to the TAMU Rural Engagement Program and other duties related to the research mission of the TAMU REP.
What you need to know
Salary: Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three years of experience in data collection, analysis, database management or related areas.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, report generation, presentation of data, and database applications.
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding.
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate degree in public health, health education or social science.
Experience working with complex data collection protocols, development of report generating forms, significant database management experience in Excel, SPSS, or other analytic tool. Experience using Salesforce.
Knowledge of database development
Knowledge of developing complex evaluation protocols
Responsibilities:
Evaluation protocol development and implementation
Works with ARCHI and Center staff to identify areas for evaluation, collaborate to develop evaluation metrics, coordinate data collection, data entry, and database management.
Creates timelines and tracking documents to ensure work is completed on time.
Report Preparations
Prepares reports on ARCHI REP activities and accomplishments and support dissemination through legislative reports, policy briefs and manuscripts.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Activities
Works with Center related and university partners to find opportunities to enhance the REP mission.
Performs other duties as assigned.
