We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Program Manager to join our cell materials engineering team and drive cell material development and qualification for the next generation Li-ion battery cells. The role requires a strong technical background in battery materials, a critical-thinking mindset, a passion to launch new technologies, and demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams for complex engineering programs quickly and effectively. You will work alongside seasoned industry experts, high aptitude recent graduates, and people from every stage in between.
- Lead cross-functional teams in planning, executing, and delivering engineering programs for cell materials development and qualification
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to identify and mitigate risks impacting project timelines and cell performance
- Closely work with NPI teams to execute new material introduction trials and cell builds
- Ensure clear documentation throughout material development and material qualification together with materials engineers
- Communicate project status, risks, and solutions to stakeholders at all levels
- Degree in Material Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in both technical program management and cell materials development
- Familiarity with cell materials design and characterization, as well as battery cell testing
- Proficient with program management tools (e.g., Jira)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to drive communications across cross-functional teams
- Leadership skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
- Experience taking a product or design from concept to manufacturing
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments with shifting priorities

$88,000 - $216,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
