- Coordinate structural design on multidiscipline project teams including Architectural, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing (MEP) professionals
- Conduct structural analysis and design of concrete and steel structures, along with the creation of justifying structural calculations
- Make technical assumptions, think independently to complete assigned work, and draw conclusions based on engineering judgement
- Present 30% 60% 90% design reviews to stakeholders and multi-discipline teams
- Complete field work independently or with the design team
- Provide planning estimates with limited scoping information
- Manage structural projects from estimating through construction
- Support bidding and construction admin, RFI review, Submittal and Shop drawing approvals, and response to field issues
- Direct, develop and mentor less experienced engineering staff
- Maintain and improve factory structural elements to meet long-term needs
- Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, or equivalent experiences with minimum 6 years' in professional construction
- Registered and in good standing as a Professional Engineer (PE) with active NCEES record and ability to acquire PE license in CA within 6 months
- Familiarity with Revit Structural
- Advanced level understanding of California building code and structural design standards
- Advanced proficiency in structural design with various materials such as steel, concrete, Unistrut, cold-form steel, steel welding and reinforcement details of concrete
- Advanced proficiency in lateral (seismic/wind) and foundation design and related code requirement
- Advanced proficiency in design considering constructability and construction sequence for fabrication/installation
- Advanced proficiency in developing structural plans, details and supporting calculations for Permit and Construction packages including responding to Plan Check
- Experience in structural design of buildings for high-tech infrastructure, industrial, or operational facilities (automobile manufacturing, semiconductor, solar, battery, etc.) is huge plus

$112,000 - $192,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
