We are seeking a highly-motivated, dependable, and experienced Sr. Software Developer Engineer (PowerShell) to join our IT Infrastructure team. As part of a global team, you will work closely with the Windows and VMware teams to design, develop, and maintain robust PowerShell automation solutions optimized for large-scale environments.
- Develop automation scripts for Windows and VMware platforms, optimized for large-scale operations.
- Update and debug existing code.
- Create and update documentation.
- Collaborate with team members.
- Implement best practices consistently.
- Contribute to the team’s on-call rotation
- Minimum 3 years experience in automating Windows/VMware with PowerShell.
- Proven ability to write code for large-scale environments.
- Documenting and applying best practices.
- Expertise in PowerShell and PowerCLI; familiarity with other scripting languages a plus.
- Experience with version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Familiar with modern DevOps best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Prior role as a VMware or Windows Engineer preferred.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent; VMware or Microsoft certifications a plus.
- Background in mission-critical, 24x7 large-scale operations.
- Familiarity with other automation platforms beneficial.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
