As a Software Validation Engineer, you will play a key role in developing comprehensive validation plans and tooling to support the launch of new customer and service-facing features for our vehicles.
You will collaborate with software developers and system experts in Europe and worldwide to design and execute test plans, identify issues, and propose improvements to enhance the quality of our service diagnostic and repair tools.
The ideal candidate is a self-driven and hands-on problem solver, interested in utilizing a range of technologies and strategies to validate and ship features.

- Develop a deep understanding of vehicle alerts, routines and diagnostic systems to perform validation reviews and risk assessments before releasing software to the fleet
- Design comprehensive test plans to support the launch of new features
- Conduct in-depth validation on engineering vehicles and test hardware
- Run periodic regression tests to verify the stability of core functions
- Define metrics and create dashboards to monitor the performance of our service tools
- Collaborate with other teams to investigate and fix issues that you identify
- Experience in software testing and automation scripting
- Strong proficiency with one of the following: JavaScript, C++, Rust, Python
- Comfortable with Linux environments and system administration
- Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills
- A passion for troubleshooting failures, improving code quality, and optimizing system efficiency, monitoring and observability
- Fluent in English
