Terracon is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Project Coordinator to support our work under the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Waste Cleanup Contract. This role is critical in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of environmental remediation and assessment projects throughout the state.

The ideal candidate will serve as a central coordination point between project managers, technical teams, subcontractors, and the client, ensuring compliance with FDEP program requirements while maintaining schedule, budget, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities for multiple environmental projects under the FDEP Waste Cleanup Contract.
• Support project managers with scheduling, task tracking, resource allocation, and milestone reporting.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including work plans, proposals, reports, invoices, and deliverables in accordance with FDEP guidelines.
• Track project budgets, monitor costs, and assist with financial forecasting and reporting.
• Serve as a liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and FDEP representatives to ensure clear communication and timely issue resolution.
• Maintain project records, regulatory documentation, and data management systems.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, regulatory standards, and Terracon’s quality and safety procedures.
• Assist with procurement and subcontractor coordination, including scheduling field activities and deliverables.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying efficiencies in project coordination and reporting processes.
