We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Level NoC (Network-on-Chip) Design Verification Engineer to join our dynamic team in Serbia. In this role, you will be responsible for the verification of our advanced NoC designs, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will work closely with our architecture, design, and software teams to deliver robust and reliable NoC solutions.

 

This role is hybrid, based out of Belgrade, Serbia or Toronto, Ontario.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive verification plans for NoC designs.
  • Create and maintain verification environments using industry-standard methodologies such as UVM (Universal Verification Methodology).
  • Design and implement testbenches, test cases, and verification components.
  • Conduct functional, performance, and stress testing of NoC components and systems.
  • Identify and debug design issues, working closely with the design team to resolve them.
  • Implement and maintain automation scripts to enhance the verification process.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and verification of NoC designs.
  • Mentor and guide junior verification engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation

 

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in NoC verification or related areas.
  • Strong proficiency in hardware description languages such as Verilog or VHDL.
  • Extensive experience with UVM, C-DPI or other verification methodologies.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or Tcl.
  • Familiarity with NoC architectures, protocols, and design principles.
  • Experience with simulation tools and environments (e.g., VCS, ModelSim, Questa).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with high-performance computing and AI/ML workloads. (preferred)
  • Knowledge of formal verification techniques and tools. (preferred)
  • Experience with FPGA prototyping and emulation. (preferred)
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. (preferred)
