We, Teltonika Telematics, are currently inviting an ambitious Junior/Middle Node.js Developer to join our growing R&D team in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management across logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.

Teltonika provides an opportunity for every ambitious Node.js Developer to take ownership of solutions from idea to production, work closely with teams across the organization, and solve a wide range of technical and business challenges.

In this role, you will:

• Take ownership of existing/new internal tools: registrate ideas/issues/bugs.
• Develop software (full-stack, yet back-end oriented) and testing functionalities.
• Take a part in all procedures of Scrum methodology.
• Help colleagues and support team knowledge sharing.
• Work together with other departments to achieve common results while participating in different projects and technologies.
• Lead the projects in technical aspects and make documentation of completed tasks and functionalities.

What we expect of you:

• At least 1.5 years of work experience developing back-end with Typescript, NodeJS.
• Working experience with React framework.
• Working experience with SQL databases.
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and work full-stack (back-end oriented)
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Good English language skills (both spoken and written).

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• Degree in Computer Science.
• Knowledge of other programming or scripting languages (PHP, NoSQL databases).
• Ability to work with Redux, Electron, React, Vite modules.
• Experience in writing test driven code.

Salary:

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 17 Eur/h up to 34 Eur/h (~2836 Eur – 5672 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get *bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
