Sr Control M Developer

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience working with Control-M in a production or enterprise environment.
• Practical experience with:
  • Control-M job monitoring
  • Job execution
  • Job re-runs/restarts
  • Job holds/releases
  • Failed/abended job troubleshooting
  • Job status monitoring
  • Dependency troubleshooting
  • Basic Control-M operational support
• Good understanding of batch processing and job scheduling concepts.
• Ability to independently troubleshoot operational issues rather than relying solely on a Control-M administrator or SME.
• Experience implementing operational changes related to batch jobs/schedules.
• Strong problem-solving and incident-troubleshooting skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work directly with US-based stakeholders and participate in US-hours meetings when required.
• Willingness and ability to learn new enterprise platforms, particularly Freshworks/Freshservice.

Good to Have

• Prior experience with Freshworks / Freshservice.
• Experience supporting enterprise production/batch environments.
• Exposure to incident, change, and problem-management processes.
• Experience working with application, database, or infrastructure support teams.
• Basic scripting or automation knowledge.
• Experience working in an ITIL-based support environment.
• Experience supporting distributed teams across India and US time zones.
