Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Terraform, AWS cloud services, and GitHub Actions, DevOps automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and managing secure, scalable, and policy-driven cloud infrastructure, while enabling automation and governance across modern cloud-native platforms and AI-driven environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Develop, deploy, and support cloud-native applications and services on AWS
- Configure and manage containerized workloads using ECS and EKS
- Develop and maintain serverless applications using AWS Lambda (Python)
- Implement governance, compliance, and security controls across cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and maintain GitHub Actions-based CI/CD workflows for automated deployments and testing
- Collaborate with architecture, security, and engineering teams to enforce cloud standards and operational best practices
- Optimize infrastructure performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in AWS environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure, deployment, and policy-related issues
- Maintain technical documentation for cloud architecture, deployment pipelines, and governance frameworks
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering / DevOps / Platform Engineering
- Strong experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, specifically:
- AWS ECS (Elastic Container Service)
- AWS EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)
- AWS Lambda (Python-based development)
- AWS Agent Core
- Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Working experience in Powershell scripting
- Basics of SQL
- Basic understanding of provisioning and launching SQL clusters using terraform
- Core services of AWS in Networking: VPC, Subnets, Route Tables, Internet Gateway, NAT Gateway, Security Groups, NACLs, VPC Endpoints, Load Balancers.
- Proficiency in Python scripting/development for automation and Lambda functions
- Strong understanding of:
- Cloud security and compliance
- IAM roles and access controls
- Infrastructure automation and monitoring
- Experience with Git-based version control workflows
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with Kubernetes administration and cluster management
- Exposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
- Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures
- Exposure to AI/Agentic platforms or cloud-native AI workloads
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, etc.) preferred
