• • Own the end-to-end delivery of a data or analytics product, from requirements and prioritization through delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Define and communicate product objectives, priorities, and expected business outcomes.
  • Take accountability for product outcomes and value delivered, rather than focusing solely on completion of individual tickets.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to translate business objectives into actionable product requirements.
  • Prioritize product initiatives based on business value, customer needs, technical dependencies, and delivery considerations.
  • Track delivery progress, identify risks and dependencies, and proactively drive resolution of issues that could impact product outcomes.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to establish realistic delivery plans and priorities.
  • Ensure delivered capabilities meet business objectives and expected product outcomes.

• • Own and continuously refine the product backlog for the data/analytics product.
  • Define, prioritize, and maintain features, user stories, and product requirements.
  • Work with engineering teams to refine requirements and ensure sufficient clarity before development.
  • Balance new feature development with enhancements, technical dependencies, defects, and other product priorities.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement and prioritization discussions with engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure backlog priorities remain aligned with the overall product objectives and delivery roadmap.

• • Establish strong working relationships with senior engineering stakeholders, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Act as the key product interface between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Facilitate discussions involving product priorities, technical dependencies, delivery risks, and business outcomes.
  • Communicate product progress, challenges, risks, and decisions effectively to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage competing stakeholder priorities and drive alignment on product direction.
  • Present product status, delivery progress, and outcome metrics to leadership.

• • Work with data and engineering teams to understand data sources, analytics capabilities, product requirements, and dependencies.
  • Translate business needs into data and analytics product capabilities.
  • Define success criteria and measurable outcomes for product initiatives.
  • Use product and delivery data to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of the product based on stakeholder feedback, business needs, and measurable outcomes.

• • Proven experience as a Product Owner / Data Product Owner / Analytics Product Owner with ownership of a data or analytics product.
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end product delivery and outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience managing product backlogs, prioritization, requirements, and delivery activities.
  • Strong stakeholder-management experience, particularly working with senior engineering stakeholders.
  • Ability to effectively communicate business objectives and product priorities to technical teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to take accountability for outcomes rather than simply managing tickets or task completion.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product development and delivery practices.
  • Experience working closely with Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, QA, and other technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and business leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and stakeholders in a complex delivery environment.

• • Prior experience in Engineering Productivity, DevOps, Software Engineering Intelligence (SEI), or related technology/product environments.

  • Experience working with engineering productivity or developer-platform teams.
  • Experience running or managing vendor Proofs of Concept (POCs), including defining evaluation criteria, coordinating technical stakeholders, assessing outcomes, and presenting recommendations to leadership.
  • Exposure to evaluating third-party products and technology solutions.
  • Experience working with senior technology leadership and enterprise engineering organizations.
