Hybrid:

This is a hybrid role in Poland. We have an office in Gdansk, where you will be expected to be based on a routine basis as agreed with your manager.

As an Engineering Team Lead, you will lead a cross-functional development team including product management, UI/UX, developers, and QA to deliver features and enhancements to our products.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead and empower an autonomous cross functional team to design, build and improve solutions for our customers
• Planning, execution and successful delivery of new product features
• Facilitating daily stand-ups/planning, ensuring bottlenecks are resolved and goals are efficiently met
• Work closely with Product Management and Design to define, and deliver, on the product vision & strategy.
• Collaborating with the team, management, and other teams to drive continuous improvement to our team culture and practises
• Directly manage the software developers and QA on the team - set and evaluate goals, conduct performance reviews, conduct regular 1-1 reviews, etc.
• Identify and clear roadblocks for the team - anticipate blockers/risks and works to get these resolved

What Good Looks like 

• Previous experience in a technical leadership role building and growing a high performing team
• Experience in full stack development (Ideally Go / ColdFusion and Vue.Js) 
• Curiosity and passion for problem solving (conceptually and analytically)
• Growth mindset, humility, and a burning desire to own your domain and your work
• Prior people management experience is essential
• An empathetic approach to communication and leadership
• Detail oriented, well structured approach to work
• Comprehensive knowledge of the product and its feature set
• User-centred approach to building software products
