About the Role

We are looking for a Sr. Data Analyst to join our D2C team and turn data into actionable business insights. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large datasets, identifying trends, building dashboards, and partnering with marketing, e-commerce, and business teams to drive better decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse sales, inventory, SKU, channel and location-level data to identify gaps and growth opportunities.
Identify inventory availability issues, stock-outs, excess inventory, ageing inventory and lost sales opportunities.
Analyse sales performance against targets, projections and historical trends.
Build and maintain MIS, dashboards and automated reporting for business and management teams.
Create clear data visibility across marketplaces and Quick Commerce channels.
Develop performance dashboards covering GMV, orders, ASP, fill rate, inventory, availability, sales contribution, growth and other key KPIs.
Work with eCommerce/operations teams to identify root causes behind sales and inventory gaps.
Develop automated reports using advanced Excel/Google Sheets formulas and SQL.
Extract and analyse large datasets using SQL and create meaningful business insights.
Track SKU-level performance and identify top/bottom performers, assortment gaps and channel-specific opportunities.
Support forecasting, projections and business planning with data-backed insights.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency and timely reporting across all business

Requirements

3–4 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, E-commerce Analytics, or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or similar BI tools.
Strong understanding of D2C/e-commerce and digital marketing metrics.
Experience working with platforms such as Google Analytics, Shopify, Amazon, Meta Ads, Google Ads, or similar tools is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to translate complex data into simple, actionable business insights.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
