You are an extremely motivated individual with a high capacity to learn, analyze, and address problems in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities include managing a team of specialists to ensure our products meet established quality standards and reducing inefficiency. You and your team will analyze operations and design workflows and production processes to reduce loss along the way while still meeting customer needs.

What you will accomplish:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) specifically designed to track the effectiveness of automated processes, ensuring they align with overall business objectives and drive continuous improvement.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (important metrics) to track process improvements and ensure alignment with business objectives.

  • Regularly monitor the performance of automated systems, analyzing data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and implement solutions for continuous improvement, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

  • ​​Collaborate with other departments to ensure that process improvements align with overall business objectives and customer requirements.

  • Lead R&D Specialists and manage their workload to complete the following:

    • Conduct process analysis and workflow studies to identify areas for operational improvements.

    • Design and implement efficient systems for inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping operations.

    • Use statistical analysis and simulation models to identify trends or issues in warehouse operations.

    • Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in industrial engineering and e-commerce to drive innovation within operational processes.

    • Monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.

    • Develop, implement and sustain standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation applying engineering knowledge and practices

    • Design and optimize warehouse layout considering the flow of goods, space utilization, and safety laws to ensure efficient material handling and storage.

    • Plan and implement changes to the layout to accommodate new products, seasonal variations, or expansion plans.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in an industrial engineering or process improvement role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and cross-functional teams to successful completion.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Proficient in the use of process mapping and analysis tools (e.g., CAD, MS Visio), and familiarity with ERP systems.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or above) is highly desirable.

  • Management experience of 1 - 3 years (preferred).

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.

$90,000- $105,000

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
