A role with Roundel is an opportunity to represent the company in the sales of digital media, advertising and custom marketing campaign solutions to the national media and advertising agency market. You’ll develop and present market-leading media strategies and smart solutions that exceed our clients’ needs—all with a focus on delivering on Target’s unmatched brand promise. Your challenge will be to lead the RFP process including reviewing responses, writing proposals, coordinating insertion orders and managing client contact reports. Use your strong communication skills and digital media experience to tell the story of Target’s key differentiators in the media and ad markets. Apply your proven success in leveraging data to distill the relevant insights that influence clients. Bring your passion for this rapidly evolving environment and have a hand in delivering the profitable financial results that benefit the entire business

About you:

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience

• Strong analytical thinking skills. Ability to creatively solve business problems, innovating new approaches where required

• Strong hands-on programming skills in Python, SQL, Hadoop/Hive. Additional knowledge of Spark, Scala, R, Java desired but not mandatory

• Good working knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts, MILP, algorithms, and computational complexity

• Passion for solving interesting and relevant real-world problems using a data science approach

• Experience in implementing advanced statistical techniques like regression, clustering, PCA, forecasting (time series) etc.

• Able to produce reasonable documents/narrative suggesting actionable insights

• Excellent communication skills. Ability to clearly tell data driven stories through appropriate visualizations, graphs, and narratives

• Self-driven and results oriented; able to meet tight timelines

• Strong team player with ability to collaborate effectively across geographies/time zones
