This position is entry-level position that starts in Summer 2025. 

Starting Hourly Rate $26.00 per hour.

You will leverage key partnerships with Target Content & Creative, Merchandising, Roundel, External Agencies and Media contacts to deliver strong campaigns, marketing & media insights, Target Branded Signing or packaging that drive guests to Target Stores and to Target products.

  • Manage and present a project on an assigned topic in one of the following areas: In Store Marketing, Roundel, Packaging, Target.Com Marketing, Target Creative + Content, or Digital.
  • Assist with the development of emerging channel marketing strategies including research, adoption and how they fit within the enterprise.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Merchandising, Target Creative + Content , Communications, Roundel, and Stores as well as many other experts throughout the organization.
  • Receive support and mentorship from an experienced team member and partner with a manager on professional development.
  • Become eligible for a full-time position

Roundel:

An internship role within Roundel is an opportunity to be part of a strategic priority business for Target. Roundel is Target’s entry into the media business, a sell-side business built on the principles of first party (people based) data, brand safe environments and proof that our marketing programs drive business results for our clients.  Roundel works with wide array of client accounts including the largest brand marketers and agencies in the world. This internal Retail Media Network develops creative multi-channel, integrated marketing solutions across digital platforms and in-store for their clients. Roundel drives audience strategies, media mix allocations, creative and media strategies that are aligned to client’s priorities and rooted in category and brands insight.  This internal agency experience will give you exposure to the latest media, adtech, strategic marketing, and consultative selling trends in the industry and will be a great way to learn and set you up to access to our Roundel Ready! career development program post-graduation.

Core Marketing:

An internship role within Core Marketing offers a comprehensive experience in the core functions of marketing, including strategy development, campaign execution, and performance analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to solve strategic and creative challenges based on business needs, messaging and product priorities, and consumer insights.

Requirements

  • Current student working towards a 4-year degree in Marketing or Advertising with strong academic performance (3.0 GPA or above)
  • Demonstrates leadership, strong initiative, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Similar Industry Titles and Key Words: Marketing Analyst, Product Specialist, Events Consultant, Packaging Specialist, On-Line marketing, Direct Marketing, Advertising Specialist
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word as well as other equivalent programs
  • Passion to drive results
