My client is a leading provider of electrical engineering, instrumentation, design, and commissioning services, is seeking a motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Operating across Ireland, the UK, Europe, and the Middle East, my client serves global leaders in industries such as pharmaceutical, data centres, utilities, oil and gas, food and beverage, transport, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the project team to provide technical support and assist with QA/QC tasks.
- Maintain up-to-date electrical document control logs to ensure seamless project progression.
- Develop functional system descriptions from design intent to final implementation documentation.
- Create, review, and manage handover and test packs for Electrical and Instrumentation systems.
- Oversee system turnover packs, coordinating closely with client commissioning teams.
- Participate in quality meetings and QA/QC walkdowns, addressing any identified issues.
- Prepare and submit technical submittals in line with project specifications.
- Evaluate RFI responses to identify and resolve potential engineering challenges.
- Develop and monitor comprehensive cable schedules for all project systems, including:
- Medium Voltage (MV), Low Voltage (LV), and Control Systems
- Extra Low Voltage (ELV), EMS, BMS, ICT, Fibre, Security, Fire Alarm (FA), and Fire Safety (FS)
Qualifications & Skills:
- Third-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment while also working independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
