Our client is a leading company in the Data Centre construction industry, providing end-to-end solutions for clients across Europe and are dedicated to delivering excellence in engineering and construction. 

They are seeking an accomplished Electrical Lead to join their on-site team in Helsinki, Finland. This role involves managing and coordinating electrical engineering activities, working to enhance design efficiency and ensure the highest standards in construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and mentor a team of Electrical Engineers, ensuring cohesion and high-quality performance.
• Identify and propose design modifications to streamline construction, reduce costs, and enhance project outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, supporting the project’s financial and operational goals.
• Oversee workmanship and material standards, ensuring top-notch construction quality.
• Collaborate with contract managers, site engineers, and other team leaders to ensure seamless communication and accurate information across all project stages.
• Review drawings and specifications in detail, promptly communicating any discrepancies to the design team.
• Define and manage resource needs, motivating the project team to achieve optimal results.
• Uphold stringent health and safety standards throughout project execution.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Solid understanding of procurement processes.
• Strong experience in project scheduling, planning, and sequencing.
• Proven success in leading MEP teams.
• Experience with Data Centre MEP projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively across teams
