About the role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in analytics, preferably within financial services, fintech, or BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and executing core analytics projects related to collections, identifying patterns and trends, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), developing data-driven strategies, and closely collaborating with the operations team to monitor and enhance performance KPIs.

About the role:

Key Responsibilities
Collections Analytics:
- Analyze collection trends and payment behavior to identify patterns and develop actionable insights.
- Build predictive models to forecast delinquency risks and improve collection strategies.
- Design and maintain dashboards to track collection performance and recovery metrics.
Root Cause Analysis (RCA):
- Conduct in-depth RCA to understand underlying issues affecting collections and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze operational processes and identify bottlenecks impacting efficiency and recovery rates.
Strategy Development:
- Develop data-driven strategies to optimize collections and reduce delinquencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor strategic initiatives.
Performance Monitoring:
- Work closely with the operations team to define and track performance KPIs.
- Analyze agent performance data and recommend actionable strategies to improve efficiency and outcomes.
- Provide regular performance reports and insights to senior management.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a data partner for the operations team, providing analytical support and insights to drive performance.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and finance teams to align on data requirements and solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Ensure data quality and integrity by working with data engineering teams to maintain robust data pipelines.
- Create automated and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making across the organization.
- Stay updated with the latest analytics tools and best practices to enhance reporting capabilities.
