This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. We invite you to come innovate with mentors who will challenge you to develop meaningful skills. You’ll contribute your creativity and outstanding ideas, while working alongside T-Mobile employees. We’ll give you hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.

What It’s Like

We work as a members of an agile scrum team, building new integration services between T-Mobile external partners like SalesForce , Google, Adobe and our internal commerce and billing systems. You will participate in daily scrum team rituals and work with Product Owners and Developers to build testing automation frameworks.  

What You’ll Do

Join a scrum team. Participate in daily ceremonies, activities,  and discussions. For Features assigned, define test strategy, determine data requirements, submit data requests, create test cases and testing user stories. Execute tests, help troubleshoot errors, document all outcomes of the tests. You’ll need to gather artifacts (Logs, screenshots, etc.) as part of documenting the outcomes of the tests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements
  • Request and/or provision test data
  • Perform manual REST API tests using tools like Postman
  • Develop software to automate testing using Tosca and/or T-Mobile’s internal Java framework / Maven / TestNG pipeline

What It Takes

  • Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering / Software Development
  • Practical work experience utilizing skills of Software Engineer / Developer [prior internships or entrepreneurial development, e.g. mobile apps, websites, etc.]
  • Java Development, Code Mgmt., REST APIs, Unit, Component, System Integration Testing, experience working in Jira, qTest

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR  be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
