This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. Join the TIPS Network Insights org and become a part of a team that is at the forefront of network intelligence, ensuring that our infrastructure is always running at its best. This role will work directly on delivering critical features for an AI application that assists network support teams with T-Mobile specific knowledge for troubleshooting network events.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in gathering relevant data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Perform data cleaning, transformation, and preprocessing to prepare datasets for analysis and model training
Conduct experiments to evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and validation techniques.
Fine-tune models to improve accuracy, efficiency, and robustness.
Document processes, methodologies, and code to ensure reproducibility and knowledge transfer within the team.
What It Takes
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in Python
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capability to work with large datasets and perform data preprocessing and transformation.
Demonstrated interest and enthusiasm for AI and machine learning through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities.
Proactive and self-driven with the ability to manage tasks and timelines efficiently.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
