This is a 12-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. We’ll give you hands-on projects and the chance to create an immediate impact.

We are seeking a highly skilled “Data Engineer” Intern with expertise in Azure Databricks and Machine Learning. The ideal candidate will have a background in building scalable data pipelines, as well as experience in large-scale data analysis, machine learning, and mathematical modeling.

What You’ll Do:

You will be working with cutting-edge tools and technologies that are shaping the future of data engineering and AI. Your contributions will directly impact our stakeholders, driving success across various business domains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Databricks, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

  • Design and implement Azure Data Factory pipelines for efficient data processing and orchestration.

  • Design and develop machine learning models and deep learning systems to solve complex problems.

  • Conduct experiments and tests to evaluate model performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to extract insights and train machine learning models.

  • Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation tasks related to Azure infrastructure and data processing.

What It Takes

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries.

  • Proven experience in machine learning, data analysis, and software engineering.

  • Strong background in statistics, probability, and linear algebra.

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (Azure/AWS/Snowflake).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR  be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program

  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
