What It's Like

The intern for the Associate Technology Solutions Manager plays a critical role on low to medium complex initiatives, leading scoping discussions, tech feasibility determination, technical visioning and setting the overall technical delivery strategy.  The Associate Technology Solutions Manager partners with the business to drive prioritization and solution delivery approach within business processes,, and across technology groups to ensure design and delivery of a complete and concise solution that addresses the business need.

What You'll Do

The intern for Associate Technology Solutions Manager will work under the leadership of the Promotions team manager and a mentor to work with the business and deliver both service and device promotions. In addition, there will be other learning opportunities in SQL, Power BI, CoPilot and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

-   Assists Technology Solution Manager (TSM) in providing technical stewardship on small to low to medium complexity initiatives.
-   Supports the delivery of technology solutions by assisting higher level TSMs in analysis, design, and project and product management.
-   Determines tech solution for escalated production triage scenarios.
-   Assists in day-to-day management of business stakeholder relationships on cross domain initiatives within established business outcomes.

Relationship and People Management

-   Identifies, analyzes, and synthesizes information, applying critical thought to present the information in a clear and meaningful way.
-   Partners across multiple IT teams, and Business to ensure clarity on assessment impacts in alignment with scope of project or initiative for the domain’s core systems. 
-   Collaborate with subject matter experts from core systems across the organization to implement solutions.
-   Works independently as well as collaboratively.

Strategy

-   Partners with the business to drive strategy, prioritization, approach, and goals of initiative.
-   Assists more senior level TSMs to prepare high level solution design presentations for leadership review.
-   Helps manage inception activities, including breakdown of product requirements and MVP scope definition.
-   Partners with senior level resources to define technology strategy approach for initiatives and to provide recommendations on scope delivery phasing/work streams.

Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
 

Minimum Qualifications

At least 18 years of age
•Legally authorized to work in the United States
•Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate
degree program
•Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students
in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the
internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on
experience/location.
