Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Full Stack Developer Intern to join our AI team. In this role, you will work on developing cutting-edge AI applications that drive our product innovation and business strategy. You will have the opportunity to work across the entire stack, from front-end interfaces to back-end services, contributing to projects that leverage advanced AI technologies to deliver exceptional value to our clients.

You will be joining a geographically diverse team with members located across the East Coast, West Coast (Bellevue), and Frisco, Texas. Our team is composed of a talented group of data scientists, machine learning engineers, full-stack developers, and SREs, each bringing their expertise to drive our AI/ML initiatives forward. Collaboration across time zones is key to our success, and you’ll have the chance to work closely with professionals from various technical backgrounds, contributing to impactful projects that enhance our organization’s product offerings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Model Development and Optimization: Assist in building, training, and optimizing machine learning models to support our product features and services. You will help improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of these models to meet customer and business needs.

2. Data Analysis and Preprocessing: Work with large datasets to clean, preprocess, and extract meaningful insights that inform model development and business decisions. You will ensure data quality and support data pipeline automation.

3. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with a geographically distributed team, including data scientists, ML engineers, full-stack developers, and SREs, to contribute to end-to-end AI/ML projects. You’ll actively participate in brainstorming sessions and technical discussions.

4. Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, and contribute ideas to help innovate and integrate new technologies into our solutions.

5. Model Deployment and Monitoring: Assist in deploying models into production environments, monitor their performance, and work with the engineering team to ensure they run smoothly at scale.

What It Takes:

To be a successful AI/ML intern, you should have a strong foundation in machine learning concepts, programming, and data analysis, with a passion for problem-solving. You’ll need to be proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment. Collaboration and communication are key, as you’ll be working with a diverse, geographically distributed team. A willingness to dive into complex challenges, stay current with emerging technologies, and contribute creative solutions will help you excel in this role.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age

• Legally authorized to work in the United States

• Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR  be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program

• Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships

Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.

Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
