Our team is searching for a Sr Data Engineer designing and developing data architectures in on-premises, cloud and hybrid platforms. We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Azure, Databricks, Snowflake and Machine Learning to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building scalable data pipelines, as well as experience in large-scale data analysis, machine learning, and mathematical modeling. We collaborate on analysis, architecture, design, and development of data warehouse and business analytics solutions. This role will mentor team members in efforts to build data their engineering skillsets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop data engineering solutions, including data pipelines, visualization and analytical tools
• Craft and develop data architectures in on-premises, cloud and hybrid platforms
• Data wrangling of heterogeneous data, exploration and discovery in pursuit of new business insights
• Actively contribute to the team’s knowledge and drive new capabilities forward
• Mentor team members in efforts to build data their engineering skillsets
• Assist team management in defining projects, including helping estimate, plan and scope work
• Prepare and contribute to presentations required by management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 5 years developing cloud solutions using data series; experience with cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Hands-on development using and migrating data to cloud platforms
• Experience in SQL, NoSQL, and/or relational database design and development
• Sophisticated knowledge and experience in building sophisticated data pipelines with Python, Experience in languages such as SQL, DAX Python, Java, Scala, and/or Go
• Hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) for data integration, data quality, and master data management.
• Experience in mastering Customers and Locations, including data modeling, hierarchy management, and data quality improvements.
• Familiarity with cloud-based MDM solutions and their implementation in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data lineage, and metadata management within MDM frameworks.
• Experience working with large-scale datasets and real-time data processing in MDM ecosystems.
• Analytical approach to problem-solving; ability to use technology to tackle business problems
• Proven understanding of message queuing, stream processing, and highly scalable ‘big data’ data stores
• Ability to lead work across multiple projects, good interpersonal skills
• Passionate about learning new technologies

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, a related subject area or equivalent experience

• At least 18 years of age

Base Pay Range: $105,100 - $189,600

Corporate Bonus Target: 15%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.

At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
