Job OverviewWe are seeking a versatile and analytical Data Scientist to join our Audience Analytics and Data Science team!
The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced analytics to provide data-driven insights that advise marketing strategies, optimize brand performance, and drive business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze consumer behavior, perform advanced statistical techniques on custom research data, and develop predictive models that improve decision-making across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement predictive and prescriptive models to understand audience behavior, brand perception shifts, and their impact on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
- Build and refine audience segmentation frameworks to support targeted marketing efforts and personalized customer experiences.
- Craft and implement brand health measurement strategies, integrating multiple data sources (e.g., survey data, digital behavior, transactional data) to assess brand equity and its impact on business outcomes.
- Partner with marketing and sponsorship teams to evaluate the efficiency of brand campaigns and partnerships, using causal inference, attribution modeling, and advanced experimentation techniques.
- Develop automated dashboards and visualizations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure robust data pipelines and efficient data access for analysis and modeling.
- Stay current with emerging trends in data science, ML, and marketing analytics, and apply innovative techniques to solve business problems.
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree Quantitative Field (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering) (Required)
- Master's/Advanced Degree Quantitative Field (math, statistics, economics, computer science, physics, engineering) (Preferred)
- 2+ years Industry experience in predictive modeling, data science, and analysis in an ML engineer or data scientist role (Required)
- 2+ years Experience with data scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) (Required)
- 2+ years Experience in data visualization (Required)
- 2+ years Experience developing statistics-based analytics reports (Preferred)
- 2+ years Experience in the telecom industry (Preferred)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Mathematics Calculus, linear algebra, statistics, and probability (Required)
- Programming: Working knowledge of Python and SQL (Required)
- Machine Learning: Solid understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques related to supervised and unsupervised learning (Required)
