Role Overview
We are looking for a Solutions Architect / Pre-Sales Consultant with 10+ years of experience in IT services, who can bridge business needs with technology solutions. The role requires strong expertise in pre-sales, solutioning, and client engagement, along with a practical understanding of modern technology stacks to design effective solutions (not necessarily deep engineering).

Key Responsibilities
1. Communication & Client Handling
  • Lead client discussions to understand business problems and articulate solution approaches clearly
  • Present technical solutions in a simplified and business-friendly manner
  • Drive client conversations towards closure in collaboration with sales teams

2. Pre-Sales & Proposal Expertise
  • Own end-to-end pre-sales activities including proposals, RFP responses, SOWs, and solution presentations
  • Conduct demos, workshops, and solution walkthroughs
  • Create compelling proposals aligned with client requirements and business goals

3. Solution Thinking & Problem Structuring
  • Break down client problem statements into logical modules and solution components
  • Design high-level solution approaches, workflows, and architecture diagrams
  • Translate business requirements into structured technical solutions

4. Understanding of Technologies for Solutioning
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of technologies such as Java, Python, APIs, cloud platforms, and databases
  • Understand architecture patterns (microservices, APIs, cloud-native) to design appropriate solutions
  • Collaborate with technical teams for validation of proposed solutions
  • (Deep hands-on coding or low-level design is not mandatory)

5. Stakeholder Management & Sales Alignment
  • Work closely with sales, delivery, and leadership teams to align on solution strategy
  • Handle sales team expectations and timelines effectively
  • Act as a bridge between client expectations and internal delivery capabilities

6. Role Fitment & Scope
  • Primary focus on Pre-Sales and Solutioning
  • May extend into project planning / coordination post deal closure
  • Not expected to perform deep technical architecture design or engineering-level decision making

Required Skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience in pre-sales, proposals, and client engagement
  • Ability to structure problems and design solution approaches
  • Good understanding of modern tech stacks (Cloud, APIs, Databases, etc.)
  • Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders

Good to Have
  • Exposure to AI/ML, Blockchain, or emerging technologies
  • Experience in IT services or consulting environment
