Syntiant Corp., a leader in the high-growth AI software and semiconductor solutions space, has entered into an agreement to acquire a large, multi-national sensor business with global revenues in excess of $250 million per year, and is looking for an experienced and talented SoC Verification Lead.
The SoC Verification Lead will be responsible for developing scalable and re-usable verification environments and test cases to verify Syntiant’s next generation Neural Decision Processor SoCs. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on self-starter who can execute the steps required to fully verify complex digital designs at block level, subsystem level & full chip level while working with cross-disciplinary teams (Design, Firmware, Product & OPS Engineering).
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for verifying design blocks, subsystem & full chip
- Write and review test plans
- Develop test cases in SystemVerilog, C/C++, SystemC or Python according to test plans
- Responsible for test plan execution, running regressions, code coverage and functional coverage
- Contribute towards chip bring-up and post-silicon validation
- Be a hands-on self-starter who can execute the steps required to fully verify complex digital designs & full chip
- Create a test plan and develop test cases for volume manufacturing
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering
- Track record of 'first-pass success' in ASIC development cycles
- 7+ years of experience with design verification and test bench development using SystemVeilog/Systemc/Python
- Expertise in developing test plans, implementing coverage models, and analyzing results
- Experience with SoC/Subsystem level verification of ARM-based SoCs
- Experience with scripting languages, e.g. Python
- Experience with SystemC is a plus
- Experience with Arm and HIFI DSP testing using C based Firmware is a big plus
- Experience with gate level simulations
- Experience with chip bring-up & post silicon validation
- Knowledgeable of ARM architecture and AMBA bus standards like AXI-4, AHB-5 & APB
- Knowledgeable of power aware simulation methodology
- Knowledgeable of SPI, I2C, DVP, MIPI protocols
- Good Understanding of Functional safety, fault injection simulation and coverage analysis
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
